Traditional Ju-Jitsu and Judo Skills Seminar
|
On September the 24th, 2005, Sarasota Judo and Nokido Ju-Jitsu hosted USJJF President, Lt. Col (ret), Bruce Bethers for a Traditional Ju-Jitsu and Judo Skills seminar. The seminar lasted from 10:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and was packed with techniques that all skill level practitioners were able to practice. The one day seminar drew Ju-tsuka/Judoka from all over the state of Fl. The seminar was the first USJJF seminar conducted by Bruce Bethers in the Sarasota, Fl. area. Florida has proven that Ju-Jitsu is alive and doing well in our state with very qualified instructors. Some of the senior participants stated that it was one of the best seminars that they have attended in years. The USJJf has continuously supported Fl. Ju-Jitsu and we were proud to host Shihan Bethers. We plan to continue with future Fl. Ju-Jitsu events and hope that those of you who could not attend this past seminar will be able to attend one in the near future.
I would like to extend special thanks to all of the participants who attended and to the instructors:
Sensei's Chris Rasmussen, Jeff Cook, David Parrit, Joseph Jundt, John Kurz, and Jeff Conn.
I look forward to working with you all again.
Sensei Earl DelValle
