Group "B" Members
Regional Judo Organizations (RJO)
Serve as State Governing Bodies for Judo with the USA-TKJ Functions as State Governing Body per posted requirements, benefits and voting rights (one delegate with one vote) in the USA-TKJ General Assembly.
An Official Regional Judo Organization (RJO) requires as a minimum the following:

Note: An RJO is first given Provisional Status until it has functioned at full capacity (meeting all of the min. requirements) for two years. Full Membership Status of an RJO as the USA-TKJ "State Governing Body" must be recommended by the USA-TKJ Executive Committee & approved by the USA-TKJ Board of Directors.

An Official Regional Judo Organization (RJO) requires as a minimum the following:
Criteria:
- A minimum of five clubs with at least Five (5) current USA-TKJ Members in each Club.
- Maintain at least 50 current USA-TKJ Members in your RJO.
- Incorporated in your state as a Non-Profit (501(c)(3) Organization.
- Elected Officers - President, Vice President, Treasurer & Secretary.
- Request official recognition as the RJO for your State (example: USA-TKJ of Nevada) from the USA-TKJ National Office.
- Must hold as a minimum one State Championship per year prior to the National Championship.
- Must conduct at least one state-level Judo camp or weekend seminar per year.
- Set up a State Promotion Board for USA-TKJ Rank testing and validation with at least two Testing Clinics per year.
- Send a delegate (normally the RJO President) to the annual USA-TKJ General Assembly - "USA-TKJ CONGRESS".
- State Governing Body recognition and assistance by USA-TKJ, The National Governing Body for Judo in the United States of America.

- Rank Recognition available for USA-TKJ members
- Regional and National Leader support and training
- National and International Rank Recognition
- USA-TKJ State Promotion Board
- Membership and Program Revenue Sharing with USA-TKJ, the National Governing Body (NGB) with the WJF.
